NMR for the Samples

12:06- Room temperature was 20C. Three 20mL test tubes were labeled 1 through 3.
12:13- 1.2440g of 4-chlorobenzaldehyde was placed into test tube 1
12:22- 0.6219g of 4-chlorobenzaldehyde was placed into test tube 2
12:24- 0.6195g of 4-chlorobenzaldehyde was placed into test tube 3
12:26- 0.4202g Aniline was placed into vial 1
12:27- 0.4258g Aniline was placed into vial 2
12:28- 0.8435g Aniline was placed into vial 3
12:33- using a 10mL graduated cylinder, 10mL ethanol was measured out and added to test tube 1, which was then inverted several times
12:35- using a 10mL graduated cylinder, 10mL ethanol was measured out and added to test tube 2, which was then inverted several times
12:38- using a 10mL graduated cylinder, 10mL ethanol was measured out and added to test tube 3, which was then inverted several times
12:39- all three test tubes were inverted again
12:41- vial 1 was added to test tube 1. Parafilm was added and the test tube was inverted
12:42- vial 2 was added to test tube 2. Parafilm was added and the test tube was inverted
12:43- vial 3 was added to test tube 3. Parafilm was added and the test tube was inverted
12:45- about 200 microliters of each sample was placed into NMR tubes. The original test tubes had parafilm replaced around the cap.
12:47- 1 mL CDCl3 was added to each NMR tube
12:55- Sample 1 (test tube 1 contents and CDCl3) was ran with the 500 Hz NMR and was saved as “minEXP278_reaction_mixture_1.dx”
13:06- Sample 2 (test tube 2 contents and CDCl3) was ran with the 500 Hz NMR and was saved as “minEXP278_reaction_mixture_2.dx”
13:09- Sample 3 (test tube 3 contents and CDCl3) was ran with the 500 Hz NMR and was saved as “minEXP278_reaction_mixture_3.dx”
13:41- Sample 1 (test tube 1 contents and CDCl3) was ran with the 500 Hz NMR and was saved as “minEXP278_reaction_mixture_1-2.dx”
13:46- Sample 2 (test tube 2 contents and CDCl3) was ran with the 500 Hz NMR and was saved as “minEXP278_reaction_mixture_2-2.dx”
13:50- Sample 3 (test tube 3 contents and CDCl3) was ran with the 500 Hz NMR and was saved as “minEXP278_reaction_mixture_3-2.dx”
